As an 18 year old heading out to college very soon I've had a lot of time to reflect on my relationship with my parents. Although being stuck inside for most of the day has deemed itself boring, I have been able to strengthen my relationship with them after years of rocky times. This video that I created was made for both myself and my parents, Jesus and Carmela. 

In addition to the strengthening of our relationships, my mom and I specifically have talked extensively about my new journey that awaits for me at Pitzer College. Not only has it been a dream of mine, but a dream of my mom's to follow in my brother's footsteps. It has been especially hard for my mom to grasp the idea of me leaving home. This project really allowed me to take the time to sit down with them and learn more about what it was like growing up for them as my childhood in a sense ended for them when I turned 18. Overall, this video is an homage to them.
